THE NEW PRESIDENT OF DIBOOS, NICO MATJI, TAKES OFF HIS POSITION IN 3D WIRE

3D Wire has been the place chosen by the new president of Diboos (Spanish Federation of Associations of Animation and Visual Effects Production Companies), producer Nico Matji of Lightbox Animation Studio, to carry out his first public event. Matji analyzed together with Beatriz Navas (Director of the ICAA), José Luis Farias (Director of 3D Wire), José Iñesta (Director of Pixelatl) and Silvia Cornillón (Coordinator of Ventana Sur Animation!) the results of the Spanish delegation that traveled to Cuernavaca on the occasion of the recent celebration of Pixelatl.

Diboos already has a new board of directors headed by Matji himself and where there are also ProAnimats vice president: Tony Albert (Motion Pictures) and AEPA vice president: Gonzalo Carrión (El Ranchito). Along with them, Carlos Biern (ProAnimats/Imira Entertainment) who assumes the position of secretary after his time at the head of the entity, and also Julio Casal (Aepa/Ficción Producciones) as treasurer.

Also joining the board of directors as members are Guillermo Velasco (AEPA/Big Bang Box) and Raúl Berninches (ProAnimats/Mago Production), from the TV and VOD Commission; Juan Carlos Gonzalvez (AEPA/Ilion Animation Studios), from the Film Commission; Darío Sánchez (AEPA/3Doubles) and Gonzalo Carrión (AEPA/El Ranchito), from the Visual Effects and New Technologies Commission; Jose Luis Farias (AEPA/Paramotion) and Toni García (AEPA/Apolo Films), from the Communication and Publications Commission; Iván Agenjo (ProAnimats/Peekaboo Animation), from the International Commission and Nathalie Martínez (AEPA/Wise Blue), from the Gender Equality Commission.

Among the objectives of DIBOOS, the promotion and development of Spanish animation production and visual effects stands out, both nationally and internationally.
