PRESENTATION OF THE WHITE PAPER ON TRAINING IN THE ANIMATION AND VFX SECTOR

This coming Thursday November 11th in the Telefónica Foundation Space, Jose Luis Farias, head of the DIBOOS Communication Area, will present the report “Training in the world of animation and VFX: preparation and dissemination of a study on training at a national and European level”, work that has been carried out by the Spanish Federation of Animation Production Companies Associations (DIBOOS).

The objective of this report, authentic White Paper on Training in the animation and VFX sector in Spain, is the development and dissemination of a guide that helps digital creators make decisions in order to train to enter the animation and visual effects sector, and that in turn will serve both training centers to evaluate the suitability of both their programs and the profiles they train and the companies to identify where and how to look for their future employees.

This presentation will take place within the program “LThe best cultural and creative industries projects of the year 2020”, being one of the six projects chosen by the Ministry of Culture and Sports from among all those presented to the help lines for the ““Modernization and innovation of Cultural and Creative Industries” and to “Cultural action and promotion”.

It is worth remembering the relevance that the animation and VFX industry has acquired in Spain, where only 4% of the total audiovisual companies generate 20% of employment in the sector, employing nearly 8,000 professionals and continuously creating positions in recent years. of qualified workers and young people, with 70% of their turnover coming from abroad.
