PROGRAM OF THE «TERRITORY FOCUS ON SPAIN» CONFERENCE AT MIFA

On June 17th, the "Territory Focus on Spain" event will take place at the Verdi A&B Impérial Palace, organized by ICEX Spain Export and Investment and Diboos. Within the Territory Focus section of MIFA at Annecy, the Spanish animation industry will give a 90-minute presentation dedicated to the industry and Spanish production companies, aiming to showcase what Spain has to offer internationally in terms of talent, experience, and funding.

At 2:30 p.m., Isabel Espuelas, Head of the ICT and Digital Content Department at ICEX Spain Export and Investment, will give a presentation, followed by several panels explaining the different characteristics of Spanish animation production. A highlight will be the panel at 3:20 p.m. entitled "Working with Spain," moderated by Justine Bannister, an international consultant specializing in animation. Participants will include Carlos Biern, president of Diboos (Spanish Federation of Animation Producers Associations, comprised of the main industry associations: AEPA and ANIMATS) and CEO of BRB; Manuel Cristobal, vice president of Diboos, Secretary General of Cartoon, and CEO of Dragoia Media; and Jorge Bazaco, operations director of Solid Angle, representing Spanish technology and VFX companies.
