PRESENTATION OF THE WHITE PAPER ON ANIMATION AND VISUAL EFFECTS IN SPAIN

The Federation of Animation and Visual Effects Producers DIBOOS will present the 'White Book of the Spanish Animation and Visual Effects Industry' on September 18 at the Madrid Film Academy.

This new edition of the White Paper breaks down updated data on the more than 250 Spanish companies that make up an industry that - representing only 41% of the audiovisual sector - generates 201% of employment and 91% of the total turnover of said sector.

Among the conclusions to be revealed at the presentation, it is worth noting that 35% of employees are women, which is higher than the average for other technological sectors.

In addition, this edition, which has the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sport, EGEDA and ICEX, includes for the first time figures from the Spanish visual effects industry and new virtual and augmented reality content, as well as digital and interactive business models. It also presents for the first time an analysis of the Latin American market.
